#6 A Confident Heart

On one occasion as the Lord prepared for the crucifixion and ascension, he told his disciples, “Peace I leave with you; my peace I give to you. Not as the world gives do I give to you.” Christ has provided peace for a confident, enjoyable Christian life. When Christians feel a lack of peace or assurance in their hearts it is not because God hates them, or their church family wants them to be miserable - but because disobedience and rebellion is in their heart.
