Nothing is random. From the time you are born until the time you die everything in between has a purpose. Everything in between has a plan. This is the key thing that Solomon wants us to take away from his grand experiment: either your death will put your life to shame or your life will put your death to shame. What determines which of those two things becomes true of you is how you live before you die.
